I n November 2025, a team of seven people was ready to travel to Mikumi, but unfortunately, the roads were not safe at the time. They will make up for this visit in February 2026. Surgeons, an internist, and nurses are traveling with them. The goal is to train people in the latest surgical techniques and the newest insights from internal medicine. These are always intensive weeks, but very useful for the local staff. We also learn from them that not everything that is possible should be done, and how you can sometimes achieve the same results for the patient using simpler means.
